The GEC is an open, four-day conference that gathers allelements of the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. At the heart of the Congressis a mix of large-scale plenary sessions for thousands of delegates and moreintimate and in-depth parallel sessions conducted by leading globalorganizations helping entrepreneurs start and scale new businesses.

GEC（全球创业峰会）是一场面向全社会，聚集全球创业生态系统元素的持续四天的国际盛典。峰会将汇集社会各界代表进行大规模的全体会议，并开展由全球领先组织发起的更为密切和深入的平行会议，以帮助创业者开始和拓展新的商业模式。

在我们中国，全球创业周中国站（GEW-China）组委会也举办过2011年第三届GEC。全球创业周（简称GEW）是全球创业领域的顶级盛会，迄今已覆盖约170个国家、超过1000万青年创业者关注并参与。每年11月，在一周时间里，各种创业主题活动在全球精彩上演。中国、美国、英国等各国首脑和政要也以各种形式对创业周予以支持，投资人、创业者、企业家、政府相关机构纷纷参与其中，共同推动了创业精神在世界范围的传播。

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this GEC will be host in Istanbul on April 16-19, 2018. Previous GEC city hosts have included: Kansas City (2009), Dubai (2010), Shanghai (2011), Liverpool (2012), Rio de Janeiro (2013), Moscow (2014), Milan (2015), Medellin (2016) and Johannesburg (2017).

第10届GEC将于2018年4月16-19日在土耳其伊斯坦布尔举办。曾经举办过GEC的城市有：堪萨斯市（2009），迪拜（2010），上海（2011），利物浦（2012），里约热内卢（2013），莫斯科（2014），米兰（2015），麦德林（2016），约翰内斯堡（2017）。

The Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) is a gathering of startup champions from around the world—where entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers and other thought leaders work together to help bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. 

The GEC brings together thousands of delegates from 170 countries to discuss economic and policy challenges around growing entrepreneurial ecosystems.
